This place practically oozes mid 90s. The smell, the slightly run down corridors, the chipped paints and misaligned door handles. Actual viewing experience is good and has most amenities modern cinema viewers would expect. Decent prices too, and lovely staff

This was honestly the worst cinema experience I’ve had. The place looks old and outdated. As soon as we opened the door to Screen 7, we saw a mouse, which instantly put us off watching anything there. We told the staff straight away, but they didn’t seem bothered at all and the screening remained open for other customers. Their reaction made it feel like this is something they’ve seen before, which is really concerning. A cinema should feel clean, safe, and looked after, this one didn’t.

It's old and it feels like it. I've tried three of the screens and two of them were a lot smaller than I'm used to when it comes to cinemas. Additionally, the seating hasn't been very comfortable. On the other hand, Ive not had any bad cinema experiences here and the staff seem to pop in to make sure the screening is going as it should. Not the best cinema but also not the worst.

My first time here. To start with, I tried NUMEROUS times to purchase a ticket in advance for £5.50 but the website was not working all day! This is NOT the fault of movie goers and may well be a SCAM, as I was charged £7 pounds even though I pointed out to staff it was Odeon's fault their website would not show the seating chart to allow you to purchase online, NOT my fault. RIP OFF. I want the difference refunded to me!!! To add insult to injury. I was totally unimpressed---Theater is a dump! Sound is not good quality which was very apparent in screen 7 as it was turned too loud, amplifying how bad the quality was. Layout is a nightmare! Stairwell going down to 7 has a STRONG smell of mould. Very likely it's a health hazard to come here. Lastly no one is cleaning as this was first showing of the movie I saw and there was garbage everywhere and something on the armrest that caused my arm to itch every time it touched the thing, so was pretty uncomfortable to sit with no rests. Movie was really good, but the theater had nothing to do with it's production. Place is an embarrassment to Bham, in an area undergoing otherwise fantastic renewal. No doubt the tickets are cheaper here than other locations because of the poor standards..otherwise no one would attend here. Won't be back.

Got to the cinema 20 minutes late to see the new billie eilish film, as we got into the screening room the screen was blank. Group of girls infront saying that the projector is glitching, man comes out saying the projector is just displaying in green, says he’s going to reboot it. Reboots it and flashes of the film are shown in 2D. comes back out and says can only show the film in 2D and doesn’t know if it’ll be ‘good or not’ quality wise. Was offered a ‘guest pass’ to come back and watch the film when the projector is working properly or a refund. Obviously walked out and got a refund, if i’m paying £25 to watch a film id expect at least the projector to be working and its a 3D film so i want to see it in 3D. Staff were nice enough and gave me an instant refund. Also christ alive the place needs a refurb.
